Funded accounts have strict drawdown limits. Once breached, the account is permanently closed and any unrealized profits are forfeited. Common causes of account loss include:

• Exceeding the daily loss limit (3–4% depending on plan).
• Exceeding the overall drawdown limit (5–8% depending on plan).
• Holding positions through high-impact news (when restricted).
• Excessive leverage or position sizing.
• Trading prohibited strategies (HFT, latency abuse, arbitrage exploitation).

Evaluation fees are not refundable when an account is closed due to a breach.

Funded accounts use leverage of up to 1:30. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. A small adverse market move can result in significant losses to your account equity. Use leverage cautiously and always maintain proper risk management.

Forex, indices, commodities, and crypto markets can be highly volatile. Prices can move rapidly during:

• Major economic news releases (CPI, NFP, central bank decisions).
• Geopolitical events.
• Market open/close periods (gap risk).
• Low-liquidity sessions (Asian session, holidays).

Volatility can lead to slippage — your trade may execute at a price worse than expected, especially during fast-moving markets.

Funded accounts at Dark Funded operate on real broker infrastructure (Exness MT5) with live market pricing. Profits are paid out from our trading capital based on the agreed split. Drawdown breaches do not result in real-world debt to the trader, but the trading environment, conditions, and risks are equivalent to live trading.
